Less chasing, more playing.
You book the shows, chase the answers, find the subs and split the money. Wrangl does the chasing, so the admin takes minutes instead of evenings.
Before, and after.
- Now:“Who's free on the 14th?” in four chatsIn Wrangl:One answer per person on the show, and a count of who’s in
- Now:Texting subs one at a time, waiting on eachIn Wrangl:Your sub list offers the gig in order, each with a deadline, until someone says yes
- Now:Retyping the setlist into a note for everyoneIn Wrangl:Copy a saved set into the show; everyone sees it, and it prints to fit the pages you pick
- Now:Forwarding the venue’s email to the drummerIn Wrangl:Send the venue a link; their times, parking and contacts land on the show
- Now:A contract template in a folder somewhereIn Wrangl:Contracts filled from your own templates, signed on a link, kept with the show
- Now:Splitting the door on a napkinIn Wrangl:Settle the show: fee, door, merch and costs in, each player’s cut out
- Now:Saying yes to a gig, then finding out who can’t make itIn Wrangl:“Should we take this?” checks who’s free, which parts need a sub, the drive and the take-home
- Now:Everyone can see the money, or no one canIn Wrangl:Roles decide who sees the books, edits the calendar or manages files, and the database enforces it
Questions band leaders ask.
Does everyone in the band need to pay?
No. One subscription covers the whole band, $10 a month at the founding rate, with unlimited bandmates. Everything works for you alone for free before you invite anyone.
My bandmates won’t install another app. Will this work?
It runs in any browser as well as on iOS and Android, so nobody has to install anything. Each show asks one question, are you in, and members can add the band’s calendar to the calendar app they already use.
Can I keep some things to myself?
Yes. Seven permissions (songs, events, files, tasks, finances, band settings and the shared-bill chat) are granted per role, and the owner always holds all of them. Someone without the finances permission can’t read the books at all, not just the screen.
What about our other band leader?
Give them a role with the permissions they need. You can also hand the whole band over with Transfer ownership, and stay on as a member.
We share a lot of bills with other bands. Does that help?
Host the night and the running order, changeovers, backline, guest list, door list and payouts are worked out in one place every band on the bill can read. Bands that don’t use Wrangl join through a link.
Run the band, not the group chat.
Free for you alone, forever. Invite the band when you’re ready.
